Celebrating our Amazing Seniors

The Class of 2026 takes the stage in Cabell Theater this weekend to receive their diplomas and celebrate their accomplishments. They’ve completed independent senior projects, applied to colleges and universities around the globe, taken challenging classes that pushed their thinking and expanded their skillsets, and made lifelong friends along the way.

Here are a few highlighted awards, achievements, and interesting facts from the Class of 2026. We’re so proud of all our graduates!

Community Engagement Award: Ari Wilda

This award is given to students who engage with individuals, organizations, or projects with authentic selflessness and a desire to make a positive impact. We have traditionally awarded this recognition to students who engage in service work not looking for resume building, nor to comply with a requirement, but because they understand and live the value of community engagement for themselves and others.

Pat Ehrman Award: Diana Manternach, Azalea Colburn, Luna González González

Pat Ehrman married into the Catlin Gabel community as the wife of Spencer Ehrman ’35. Their three children, all Catlin Gabel “lifers,” attended the school over a 20-year span. Pat chaired the Rummage Sale tradition for several years, during which the Upper School faculty awarded the "Rummage Chair’s Award" to the senior(s) who gave exemplary time, energy, and service to the school.

In recent years, we have conferred the award, named in Pat’s honor, to the Catlin Gabel student (or students) who embody the mission and values of the school.

Class Ring Award: Luna Flores

The School Ring is awarded annually to a senior chosen by their peers by secret ballot.  The recipient is a symbol of the spirit and the standards of Catlin Gabel. This student has made significant contributions to the school community during their time here.
