2021 Joey Day Pope ’54 Volunteer Awards

The Joey Day Pope ’54 Volunteer Award is given each year to Catlin Gabel community member(s) who personify volunteerism and selfless service. These individuals demonstrate longevity of service to the Catlin Gabel School, bring enthusiasm and commitment, act as an ambassador of Catlin Gabel, provide gifts of talent and time, and possess qualities of character and responsibility.

It is an honor to announce Abby Tibbs ‘96, JD, Cameron Cover, MD, Dana Walton-Macaulay, Justin Sales, MD, and Eneida Nemecek, MD as this year’s recipients of the Joey Day Pope ’54 Award for Community Service. In a year of so many unknowns, we recognize all of their work on the Contingency Planning Team (CPT). Their voluntary efforts have been invaluable in helping to inform the school’s protocols throughout the pandemic. Thank you for helping us grow together!

  • Spending hundreds of hours in committee meetings
  • Bringing unique skill sets and expert knowledge to lead our school in extraordinary times
