Soccer - Middle School Blue Boys vs. Riverdale

Event Type: Regular

Date: September 21, 2018

Event Recap:

The boys blue team had an amazing start to the season with a successful first game against a strong opponent, Riverdale.

Our team maintained positive attitudes and high energy throughout the game. As they got used to the 4-3-3 formation they continued to gain confidence and a solid understanding of rotations and responsibilities on the field. This new formation allowed us to be strong offensively and to generate many opportunities to score.

There are some areas where we still need to improve such as pressing the ball a little more when we play defense on the opponents side, and covering for teammates when they need help in the defensive rotations. We will get there!

We ended the game winning 5-2. I’m extremely proud of all the players for giving their all and playing with heart.
