2017-2018 Season Recap

The Girls’ Varsity Basketball team finished 6-16 overall, 1-15 in league play. The teams’ overall record does not reflect the hard work, dedication, and growth the team displayed throughout the season. The most defining quality of the 2017-2018 team was their comradery towards each other, the overall team chemistry, and their willingness to never give up. These attributes are ones you cannot teach, and I was extremely proud of this year’s squad.

The Women's Basketball program's philosophy focuses on teaching the fundamental skills of basketball, while also emphasizing the intangible qualities that are necessary for a successful program. At the end of four years it is the hope the girls will leave with a lifelong love of basketball, utilizing the skills they learned on the court to reach their full potential off the court.
