CG welcomes new Advancement Director, Nicole Rinetti-Clawson

Catlin Gabel announced this week that Nicole Rinetti-Clawson will be the new Director of Advancement.

Nicole is a proven development leader, with almost twenty years of experience, primarily in higher education. Most recently, she has served as the Director of Major Gifts at the University of Portland. Prior to that, she worked as the Deputy Executive Director of Major Gifts and Director of Development, and a Major Gifts and Annual Fund Officer at Santa Clara University, University of San Francisco, University of California, Berkeley, and Pitzer College.

Nicole has extensive experience in all aspects of development, including strategic planning, capital campaigns, staff management, event planning, prospect management and analytics, donor relations, and board engagement.

She earned a B.A. in government at the University of Redlands and a master’s degree in nonprofit administration at the University of San Francisco.

Nicole has been instrumental in advancing distinctive programming in the institutions in which she has served, including STEM and engineering initiatives.
