Daniel Chiu '17 wins Gold in Informatics Competition

Daniel Chiu '17 won a gold medal at the International Olympiad for Informatics (IOI) for the second consecutive year. Daniel competed at the event August 12-19, 2016.

Only eight other people from the U.S. have ever won two gold medals in the 27-year history of the competition, and only four people from the U.S. have ever done this before starting their senior year.

The event was held this year in Kazan, Russia, and included over 300 students from around the world.
