Co-Curricular Opportunities

At Catlin Gabel, we place a high value on learning both inside and outside the classroom. Students have access to a range of programs that expand their horizons.

Students can join affinity groups from which they identify from the “I” perspective, sign-up for outdoor experiences in Portland and beyond, or go on a global trip. Many students also participate in one of our many athletic programs. Eighth graders can also join the Robotics and Engineering Program, which is also open to all Upper School students, and no experience is required. The Middle School organizes a variety of Community Engagement opportunities for students to learn from people and organizations beyond the campus. Click on the links below for more information.
