Campus Tours

A great way to get a sense of Catlin Gabel is to take a guided tour during a regular school day. While walking around and observing classes in session, you will see for yourself how the students freely move about our beautiful 67-acre campus, how well they engage with each other and with their teachers, and why Catlin Gabel feels like home after no time.

Campus tours are available September through early February.

You can also experience Catlin Gabel by attending a sporting event, lecture, theater production, or art exhibit that is open to the public. Check the Admission Newsletter and athletics schedule for upcoming events.

Beginning School

A tour of the campus including classroom observations, and a conversation with an admission officer.

This parent/guardian tour is a required step in the admission process for preschool and kindergarten.

To avoid disruption to our current students, we ask that these tours be attended by adults only.

Lower School

A small group tour of the campus including classroom observations, and an opportunity to ask an admission officer questions.

This parent/guardian tour is a required step in the admission process for grades 1-5.

To avoid disruption to our current students, we ask that these tours be attended by adults only.

Middle & Upper School

An individual tour of the campus including classroom observations and an opportunity to ask an admission officer questions.

We also offer group tours of the Upper School on 9th grade visit days that begin immediately following the parent/guardian Q&A. Please note that due to the size of group tours, classroom observations may not be possible.

Tours are highly recommended, although not required.

Students applying to grades 6-12 are welcome to attend with their parents/guardians.
