We’re here to guide you through the process of applying and answer all of your questions. Our Information sessions are highly recommended because they provide you with an opportunity to speak directly with educators, and learn about our curriculum, daily schedules, school culture, extracurriculars, and financial assistance.

Financial Assistance Information Coffees

Parents and guardians are invited to campus for coffee and a brief presentation about need-based financial assistance at Catlin Gabel. There will also be Q&A throughout where admission and financial assistance officers will address your questions directly. Adults only, please.

Middle School Admission Information Sessions

Parents/guardians and students are invited to spend time with Middle School Head Ted Chen to learn more about the Middle School curriculum, daily schedule, extra-curricular opportunities, traditions, and more. Students welcome!

Preschool – 5th Grade Admission Information Session

This event is for those parents and guardians who missed our October Open House. Please note, campus tours will not be available at this event.

You are invited to come learn more about our Beginning School (Preschool, Kindergarten) and Lower School (Grades 1-5) programs from a panel of our teachers, students, and alumni. There will also be time for a Q&A. Adults only, please.

NWAIS Presentation: The Benefits of an Independent School Education
The Commons at Taborspace, 5441 SE Belmont St, Portland, OR 97215

Join Catlin Gabel and other Northwest Association of Independent School (NWAIS) members at The Commons at Taborspace for a presentation and Q & A: The Benefits of an Independent School Education. Afterwards there will be an opportunity to talk directly with admission professionals from these schools: Catlin Gabel School, Oregon Episcopal School (OES), French American International School, NW Academy, Portland Jewish Academy, Franciscan Montessori Earth School, and Cedarwood Waldorf School. Please note: students inquiring about grades 6-12 are welcome to attend otherwise this event is for adults only. Open to the public.

Join us at the Multnomah Athletic Club for breakfast and to learn more about Catlin Gabel's Palma Scholars Program, a cutting edge scholarship program for a select group of incoming 9th graders who demonstrate achievement and potential in four key areas: academics, athletics, leadership, and service. In addition to meeting faculty and admission staff, you will have the opportunity to talk to coaches and current Palma Scholars to learn more about this unique program.
