Catlin Gabel’s Upper School empowers students to develop their own voice and provides opportunities for them to use it. It is a place where students in grades 9-12 collaborate in intellectual, artistic, leadership, and athletic pursuits within a framework of inquiry and care.

Our private high school develops critical thinkers who can voice their opinions, deal with complexity, and want to make the world a better place. Teachers and students know each other well. These authentic bonds make learning engaging and fun. This is a place of deep thought, inspired inquiry, joy, and laughter.

By the time they graduate, students have learned to solve complex challenges, competed at the state and national level, completed rigorous assignments and exams, and begun to discover their place as citizens of the world.
