Middle School Co-Curricular Opportunities

At Catlin Gabel, we place a high value on learning both inside and outside the classroom. Middle school students have access to a range of programs that expand their horizons.

Students can join affinity groups, sign-up for outdoor experiences in Portland and beyond, or go on a global trip. Many Middle School students also participate in athletics, building skills and sportsmanship from the ground up. Eighth graders can join the Robotics and Engineering Program, which is also open to all Upper School students, with no experience required. The Middle School organizes a variety of Community Engagement opportunities for students to learn from people and organizations beyond campus.
