Affinity and Discussion Groups

Catlin Gabel offers affinity and discussion groups to students who are in our Lower, Middle, and Upper Schools, as well as families, as a means to strengthen our community.

Affinity groups were created for the social connection and support of their members. They foster a supportive environment where students, families, and employees can connect with others who share similar experiences, challenges, identities, or cultural backgrounds. These groups engage in discussions, activities, and fellowship.

Groups evolve over time as the interests and needs of our community change.

Catlin Gabel’s equity and inclusion efforts are rooted in our commitment to belonging for all. We do not discriminate based on race, color, religion, disability (with reasonable accommodation), sexual orientation, gender identity, national or ethnic origin, or any other legally protected status in admission or employment. Our work engages the full diversity of our community—centering lived experience as essential to learning—while fostering respectful dialogue and inclusion across all groups.
