Students and Friends for Equality

Welcome to the SAFE website. SAFE is Catlin Gabel's Gay-Straight Alliance. We emphasize awareness, understanding, and support for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Transexual, Queer, Questioning, and Intersex (LGBTTQQI) people, both at Catlin Gabel and in the broader world. 

We are a fun, friendly, open-minded, and energetic club. The students and adults of SAFE know that about one in every ten  people will identify as GLBTQ. We're here to make the campus a kind, fun, supportive, and caring place for those students who do so, and to raise awareness among teens and adults about important issues facing the GLBTQ community.
