Ally Week
- What is Ally Week?
Ally Week is a national youth-led effort empowering students to be allies against anti-LGBT (lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender) bullying, harassment and name-calling in K-12 schools.
- What is an Ally?
An ally is "Someone who is either straight, or non-declaring who supports the LGBTQ Community." In this case, it includes anyone who believes that bully, harassment, and name-calling are unacceptable in schools (or anywhere, really).
- How can I take part?
If you go to Catlin Gabel, find a SAFE leader or advisor on campus and ask about details. Taking part is easy, and helps make a statement about what we think is and what we think is NOT ok.
- When is Ally Week?
Ally Week is an annual event.
