7th Grade Science

Students spend a fourth of the year studying various aspects of environmental science including water usage, conservation, pollution, groundwater contamination, and acid rain. Students also look at the over-consumption of the world's resouces by the U.S. Students approach studies from the understanding that the resources in our world exist in a closed system.

8th Grade French

Monique Bessette shows the French version of the Story of Stuff video to introduce a conversation about consumerism and consumer choices. There is also a unit on the common points of sustainability.

8th Grade Spanish

Wally Wilson assigns students to write children's books in Spanish using sustainability themes.
