The Catlin Gabel Schools 58th Annual Rummage Sale Promises to Delight and Surprise Portland Residents.
Catlin Gabel, an independent, coeducational day school dedicated to excellence in education, today announced its 58th annual Catlin Gabel School Rummage Sale, one of the largest volunteer rummage sales in the U.S., will take place at the Expo Center from October 31, 2002 to November 3, 2002. All proceeds raised will go toward student financial aid.
This year, Portland residents can look forward to another astounding collection of "rummage." Some examples of this years "rummage" include:
- A 1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager Mini Van;
- A 1996 Ford Explorer;
- A beautiful antique American tiger maple bed;
- A stunning antique Asian gong;
- A top-of-the-line Rainbow play structure;
- A mint condition Aquaterra Kayak (seats 2);
- A John Deere riding mower;
- Hundreds of power tools; and
- Unique costume jewelry.
