Catlin Gabel's annual Gambol auction set for April 4
Proceeds support financial aid, faculty development & academic programs
WHAT: The Gambol, Catlin Gabel School’s annual benefit auction. Gambol proceeds directly support Catlin Gabel teachers and students by funding the faculty professional development program and enriching the school’s many academic programs. Our special appeal this year is financial aid.
WHEN: Saturday, April 4, 2009
WHERE: Portland Art Museum, 1219 SW Park Ave.

AUCTION ITEMS INCLUDE:
* The trip of a lifetime to Bali, Indonesia
* Hollywood Glamour: Two nights at the Beverly Hills Montage, with VIP tickets to the Ellen DeGeneres Show and Jimmy Kimmel Live and a tour of E! Studios
* Tour and lunch at the New York Times building with David Shipley, a Catlin Gabel graduate who is the Times’s op-ed editor and editorial page deputy editor
* Getaways to Baja, the Napa Valley, Seattle, Mt. Bachelor, Hood River, Manzanita, and many more
* A wood and metal sculpture by noted artist Tom Cramer, a Catlin Gabel graduate
* For sports fans: a round of golf at Pumpkin Ridge with ESPN commentator Jay Harris, and a full-on sports weekend in Los Angeles featuring 4th row center courts seats at three NBA games
* A catered Plate and Pitchfork dinner under the stars at Sauvie Island
