Catlin Gabel School hosts admission open houses in November and December
Learn what Catlin Gabel has to offer
PORTLAND, Ore.—Catlin Gabel School welcomes parents of children in preschool through 12th grade to attend open houses on the campus on November 14 (for preschool to 5th grade) and December 5 (6th to 12th grade); times and locations follow. Students as well as parents are invited to the December 5 event. Catlin Gabel School is at 8825 SW Barnes Road, just east of St. Vincent Hospital (near the intersection of Highways 26 and 217). OPEN HOUSE SCHEDULE
Beginning and Lower School: preschool to grade 5
For parents
Sunday, November 14, 1 to 4 p.m.
Registration: the Barn
An overview presentation of the Beginning School (preschool and kindergarten) and Lower School (grades 1–5) will be followed by campus tours and an opportunity to meet with teachers.
Middle School: 6th to 8th grade
For parents and students
Sunday, December 5, 1 to 4 p.m.
Registration: Middle School
A Middle School overview and tour will be followed by an overview and optional tour of the Upper School.
Upper School: 9th to 12th grade
For parents and students
Sunday, December 5, 1 to 4 p.m.
Registration: Cabell Center
A student music performance and slide show will be followed by an Upper School overview presentation. Tours and breakout sessions scheduled every 30 minutes on the half hour include a student panel discussion and a focus on the humanities as well as science and mathematics.
