Board of Trustees

Volunteers fill all board positions. Trustees are carefully selected based on demonstrated service to the school and clear commitment to Catlin Gabel's goals and philosophies. Potential trustees are nominated by the committee on trustees and elected by the board. Some standing and ad hoc board committees include volunteer parents, students, faculty, and alumni in addition to elected trustee members, though other committees are limited only to current board members or special appointees. The elected board of trustees and several ex-officio board members set policy for the school and review the school's implementation of its policies.
