Free of charge and open to all

Space is limited. Please RSVP here.

A youth-run and moderated panel addresses the issue of “the role of police in the community of Portland” in this special event at The CENTER.

This public dialogue concerns the role of police in the community of Portland. The panel will feature six voices (including Will Aitchison, Imam Najeeb, Daryl Turner, Aliza Kaplan, and Margaret Jacobson) speaking from different perspectives on the issue.

Although they may disagree, the speakers will engage in a productive and informative dialogue. The organizers’ ultimate goal is to educate community members about all sides of this issue and move towards a more peaceful city.

Watch the students’ promotional video.
