FIRST EVER trip down the LOWER Deschutes! That's right, this fall we will travel a BRAND NEW section of the river. (This section of the river was just created). Come join us for a 3-day trip down the lower Deschutes River. We will put in just below Sherar's Falls and travel all the way to the Columbia River. Students and staff will travel together in several rafts with a seperate gear boat. At night we will set up tents and cook and camp in the glorious canyon of the Deschutes River. Students need not have any previous rafting or camping experience. Students should be in reasonably good physical condition and comfortable in and around water. This is a perfect trip for students new to the Outdoor Program.
The cost of the trip is $155. Scholarships are available. A deposit of $50 from your school account will be assessed on September 20th. This is NON-REFUNDABLE, but is part of the $155 trip cost.
The trip is open to Upper School students.
