Sandy Ridge Mountain Biking and Service
Trail Riding and Service!
Strap on your helmet, wipe that mud from your face, and join Chris Bagg for a weekend of mountain biking and trail work on the Sandy Ridge. The beautiful Sandy Ridge is located near Mount Hood, and offers a huge number of trails ranging in difficulty for mountain bikers.
The plan is to meet in the Theater parking lot at 9am on Saturday morning where we will load our bikes into a trailer before driving off toward the Sandy Ridge. Saturday will be spent riding and exploring the trails. The group will then head to McIver State Park on the Clackamas River, to cook, hang out, and set up camp. A short trail maintenance project with the BLM will start the day on Sunday before the group saddles up for another afternoon of peddling through the woods. We will be back to Catlin by 5pm on Sunday.
The cost of the trip is $55. See form below for Financial Assistance Form. Interested students should send an email to David Zonana. Students with some mountain biking experience may have an easier time with some of the steeper terrain.
