This is about as much fun as you can have in two days in south-central Washington! On Saturday we’ll travel to Trout Lake, where we'll slip into wetsuits and toss on PFDs before being taught how to navigate our group’s raft through one of the most exciting half-day stretches of water in the Northwest.  On Saturday night, we will camp out, enjoying the sounds of the forest and roasting marshmallows on the campfire at the Guler-Trout Lake County Park. On Sunday we’ll take a minimum of gear and go into Indian Heaven Wilderness for an incredible hike.  This is one of the best hiking destinations in the Northwest, so bring a camera!  Students should be in good physical condition. No experience is needed. What an awesome way to end the school year and start the summer!

The cost of this trip is $135. This fee covers rafting instruction and gear rental, permits, transportation, and most food. This trip is open to all middle schoolers. You can sign up by sending an email to Erin Goodling at goodlinge@catlin.edu.
