Middle School SW Washington Caving
Come explore the lava caves of SW Washington! Middle school students will join together for an awesome weekend of cave exploration, camping, hiking, and learning about geology. We will check out the unique caves in the Trout Lake area.
We'll also spend time exploring the surrounding forests, munching on delicious meals cooked on a camp stove, and making new friendships with students from different middle school grades. We'll camp under the stars (and in tents in case of rain) at a nearby campground. Students will have the opportunity to practice putting up and taking down tents, cooking, and maintaining camp.
The trip cost is $40. Make sure to bring two headlamps/flashlights, a lunch for the drive up, and lots of warm layers and rain gear.
This trip is open to all middle school students.
