July 1-2: Upper School Climb of South Sister
Join us for an attempt to reach the summit of one of Oregon's premier peaks. South Sister is the third highest peak in the state and commands tremendous views of the Cascade Range. The challenge will be a moderate and relatively straightforward climb.
The group will travel to a trailhead on the morning of the first day. The hike in to basecamp will a take about three hours. The attempt on the peak will take place during the second day. The group will then hike out and return to Portland.
No previous climbing experience is necessary, but students should be in good condition.
Open to students ages 14-18
Cost is $145.
