Spend a day in the sun east of the mountains on an easy road bike tour along the Deschutes River Canyon.  We'll take the big yellow school bus, with all the joys embedded therein, to the rustic town of Maupin.  We'll unload our trusty two wheelers from the trailer and bike across the plateau heading north toward Tygh Valley.  Once there the group will turn east and visit the legendary Falls of Whie River.  This awe inspiring cataract has been the scene of many epic kayak plunges in the last decade.  Maybe we'll get lucky and experience some free entertainment!  After lunching along the banks of the White River we will bike dlown, down, down to the Deschutes River and look at Sherar's Falls.  The final few miles of the trip involve a pleasant ride along the great river back toward the town of Maupin.

Did you notice this trip is all down hill?  Well, it's true.  We will start about 500 feet higher than where we finish!  There will be a few hills on the way, but nothing to write home about.  Please join us for this one-day adventure.

The trip is open to students in the Upper School

The cost of the one-day trip is $30.
