Come join fellow 6th graders for a day-trip to the mountain! We will don snowshoes and make our way to one of the most beautiful winter spots in Oregon. We will laugh all day long as we make snow-angels, build snow-people, slide down hills, and make our way around the frozen lake by ski.

No experience is necessary for this trip!--its purpose is to introduce 6th graders to winter outdoor adventures and to help them build confidence in a relaxed atmosphere. It's the perfect introduction to winter outdoor trips, and 6th graders that join this weekend will be experts if they come on the next weekend's all-middle school cross-country ski trip to Trillium Lake/Teacup.

Email David Zonana at zonanad@catlin.edu to sign up for this trip. Cost will be determined soon (depending on ski rental), billed to student accounts. As with all trips, financial aid is available.  Information can  be found online at www.catlin.edu/middle/outdoor-program, in the Outdoor Program office, or by contacting Joe Walsh in the Business Office at walshj@catlin.edu.
