Calling all students in the 6th Grade class!  The Outdoor Program will be taking a group of adventurous students on a beautiful daytrip to the shores of Lower Twin Lake on Mount Hood.  We will stop and rent snowshoes in the town of Sandy on the drive up and do a short lesson on donning and travelling in these useful devices.  The trail winds through beautiful Mountain Hemlock forests that are draped in Old Man's Beard.  We will have lunch at the lake, play in the snow, and maybe even build a snowman before heading back to the bus.  This is a beautiful area that is worth visiting in all seasons.

This trip is open to 6th graders only.  No experience necessary.  The estimated cost for this trip is $30.  This includes cost includes equipment rentals.  Financial aid is available.
