Conferences!
We are looking forward to our conferences this week. Please fill out your conference form and return to school ASAP! You may also email your form to your teacher. Thank you!
Dear Parents,

A short note for a short week! The highlight of last week was DAY 100! It’s hard to imagine that we have had 100 days of school! One hundred days of friends! One hundred days of fun! One hundred days of learning! We celebrated by making “100” crowns and creating a story board of the book,
The Wolf’s Chicken Stew, and of course, a visit from
Zero the Hero! He loved the cake the children made with 100 M&M’s. Next week we’ll begin using our wonderful 100 collections as a basis of our math work.
Construction Zone
Last week in the Construction Zone we opened up the message center for the children to write messages to their classmates. Each child has their own little mailbox and you are welcome to slip a note into your child’s box that is in Joanne’s room close to the art studio. They love to get mail!
We look forward to seeing you at conferences!

Donate Humanitarian Supplies for Cuba Trip
Did you know that a Cuban citizen receives one bar of soap per month, and that all the hygiene supplies we take for granted are rationed in Cuba? You can help our students prepare for their trip to Cuba by donating basic supplies, from toothpaste and soap to old baseball gloves. Drop off your donations in the Upper School office or library any time through March 12. When the students arrive in Cuba in March, they will distribute the supplies to clinics and individuals. For a complete list of requested items to donate, please visit the Cuba trip page on the Catlin Gabel website
http://www.catlin.edu/global-education/global-trips/cuba-2010. On behalf of the students making this life-changing trip, thank you for your contributions.
