Junior Katy Wiita and her MAC Synchro trio team won gold this week at the U.S. Open Synchronized Swimming Championships held in Irving, Texas. They won in the junior trio category. The elite international competition attracted nearly 200 of the nation’s top synchronized swimmers as well as notable international talent. Club teams from the United States competed against teams from other countries including Canada, China, the Dominican Republic, Great Britain, Korea, and Mexico. Congratulations, Katy!
