Compulsive Behavior
On February 26, 2009, the PFA organized an evening with Jerald Block, M.D., renowned psychiatrist and expert on internet addiction. Dr. Block talked about the ways adolescents behave online and described when those behaviors become a problem. He has published an editorial in the American Journal of Psychiatry arguing that “internet addiction” merits a new diagnostic term.
