Homework Club
Each Tuesday from 3:30 to 5 p.m. the Learning Center offers a Homework Club for 4th-5th graders who struggle with homework or who just need a structured time and place to work. Students can work on their homework in a supervised environment getting support with prioritizing, organizing, and understanding directions, as needed. The goal is for students to learn strategies that allow them to do their work with increasing independence.
Enrollment is limited. Contact Sue Sacks with questions or to sign up -- ext. 331 or sackss@catlin.edu ASC charges apply.
Homework Club does not meet when school is not in session. During a homework-free week for one grade, Homework Club is still open for students in the other grade.
