Applicants should designate their interest in being considered for the Knight Family Scholars Program in the Catlin Gabel application and must also complete the Knight Family Scholars Program supplement. Only students applying for admission to the 9th grade will be considered. Admission to the program will be based on both demonstrated achievement in and potential for future development of the program’s four key characteristics; academics, athletics, service, and leadership. Who are Knight Family Scholars?
What are the benefits of being a Knight Family Scholar?
Students who enroll in the program will receive financial assistance to attend Catlin Gabel. The school offers additional funding opportunities for both summer opportunities and post-graduate travel opportunities as a Knight Family Scholar. Scholars will also benefit from an innovative seminar curriculum that will focus on a student’s individual academic interests. Students will have the opportunity to collaborate with community leaders and other contemporaries in the seminar. Recognition as a Knight Family Scholar and help in communicating about this program as part of the college process are also tenets of the program.
