Members of the Catlin Gabel community have established endowed funds with gifts of at least $25,000 to generate income in perpetuity. Below is a complete listing of Endowed Funds and the donors who participated in 2008-09 giving.

This combined fund was created in 2003. Originally created by George F. Patten, Jr. a former trustee, in memory of his wife, Elsie Shepard Patten '29, a lover of books and the mother of six alumni: Judy Patten McIndoe '55, Meg Patten Eaton '58, Gearge N. "Skip" Patten '62, Deborah Patten Gerrish '65, Alice L. Patten '67, and Stuart E. Patten '72. Combined with the Flo Angell Lower School Library Endowment Fund, the James K. Angell Middle School Endowment Fund, and the Eva Mae Chamberlain Library Endowment Fund, to support all the school's Libraries.

Established in 2008 by Mabel Livingstone Bishop '42 to provide financial assistance to Catlin Gabel students.
 
Earle A. Chiles Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1986 by Earle M. Chiles '51 in honor of his father, Earle A. Chiles, to provide financial aid for Upper School students.
 
Jack Dant Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 1999 by Jack Dant* to provide financial aid for students at Catlin Gabel.
 
Sally Slocum Davis '38 Endowed Scholarship Fund
Established in 2006 by Sally Slocum Davis '38 for financial aid for rising freshman.
 
Sid Eaton Candowment/Alys Patterson/Benjamin Reed/Bill Watson Fund
This combined fund was created in 1998. Candowment, a project that raises awareness of recycling and sustainability, was established in 1983. The Patterson/Reed/Watson Financial Aid Fund established in 1982 from the bequest of Alys Patterson, a dedicated Rummage Sale volunteer. This fund was enlarged by the bequest of Benjamin M. Reed, and further enhanced by gifts in memory of Bill Watson '79.
