Benefit event in support of outdoor education

Fred Beckey is an American mountaineer and author. He has made hundreds of first ascents, more than any other North American climber. Beckey will talk about his 70-year career climbing mountatins around the word and share rare photos from some of his first ascents in the Cascades. Between climbs, Beckey has written several books, mot notably Cascade Alpine Guide, the definitive 3-volume description of the North Cascades from the Columbia River to the Fraser River. 

Cost: $6 to support the outdoor education program.
Open to the public.
Books will be available for sale and for signing.
