This spring we worked with two concepts. We practiced listening and using our imagination. We heard two stories and then developed what we saw in our imaginations into colorful life-size paintings. Next we worked with negative and positive elements in printmaking. We experimented with stamps in preparation for our prints. Students were required to create an edition of five original prints. These prints had to match color, density and size. They designed and made and envelope for their edition. Students created a print to be used on the cover of their Heroic Journey Anthology.
