The focus of this rotation for students was to work with the elements and principles of design. These include: line, value, color, symmetry and texture. Students began with a series of assignments that utilized these design concepts, and they developed the skills to realize light source, shading and color. These paintings are some of the last done during this rotation. The represent an attempt to match nature and abstract it.
