Eagle Memories from Eagle Families

Very soon we will begin thinking about eagles. To help begin this class inquiry, we find it helpful to ask the children and their families for their own memories and/or experiences with eagles. See below for the Eagle Memory Form. Please share an eagle memory or experience with your kindergartner. If you have not ever had a direct experience involving eagles, you can share something that you know about eagles. Use books or the Internet to help. You may include pictures, drawings or artifacts. Once you have filled out the Eagle Memory Form, please return it to school by Monday, February 25. We will use this information as a starting point for discussion and an opportunity to observe where particular interests lie with the children. We also want to create an “eagle” collection! This may include items from home such as quarters, flags, fabric, stamps, stuffed animals, information from the Internet, etc. Thank you for your help and support of our eagle exploration. We are so excited to begin this project!
