For your draft Bacteria and Mold Lab, add the following:

Discussion - As shown on pg. 15, the agar plates exposed to swab samples from the water in a fish tank (sample #4), a lizard's back (sample #5), and a dead owl's talons (#6) had the most colonies growing after incubation of 2 weeks at room temperature.  The sample collected from the water in the mudskipper's tank (#4) had the most bacterial colonies of mold and bacteria combined than any other sample.  Sample #6 had the most area covered by a colony of unidentified life (bacteria? mold? yeast?). Sample #8, collected from the handle of the boy's toilet, was populated with approximately twice as much mold as bacteria (covering about 60% of the agar plate area). The girl's toilet handle sample (#3), in comparison, had 20% of the agar covered with bacteria and mold, with the mold covering about six times as much area as bacteria.  Samples # 9, 2 and 1 had much fewer bacteria and mold colonies, as shown on pg. 15.  Sample #7, collected from the outside handle of the M.S., had approximately the same number of mold and bacteria as sample #10, which had been exposed briefly only to a clean swab and air, as a control for comparison.
