Philosophy

To provide a program of physical education that fosters student opportunity to achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of fitness, develop efficient motor skills, movement coordination, sportsmanship and knowledge of lifetime skills. The impact and benefits of physical fitness on total health are stressed, while emphasizing the personal, social and multi cultural benefits that can be derived from leisure and competitive activities. The value of physical activity and its contribution to a healthy lifestyle is modeled.
