Spirit Sprinter
by Anna Dodson
October 29, 2009

My spirit
running the road of life
jogging on that dusty path
dirt streaked across my cheeks
Don’t stop now
I’m almost there
The world whipping by
in a dizzying blur
no matter how confusing
I brace myself against the pain
Sometimes, I come to intersections
and I am tempted to take the wrong way
but I keep going
To the final destination
Peace
