The Monster

Their milky white shark teeth of horror
in heads grown beneath broad shoulders.
This bloodthirsty creature disturbs you at night
with their ravenous appetite.
Humans alive is their favorite to devour.
Their strong sinewy body is full of power.
These cold-blooded creatures will give you nightmares.
Or, perhaps you could wake up feeling your flesh tear.
I’ve never encountered such a horrendous beast.
I am Will Henry, and this is my
journey to stay alive
and vanquish the Anthropophagi.
