Starting Anew

To outclass in the virtues
To gain the righteousness inside
You must be ready
To diminish your brash pride

Do not let bad instincts take over
or arrogance seize control
As life will show you that
Hubris can damage the soul

Let honesty rule your life
Have peace be your way
Do not be blinded by revenge
Or have hatred lead you astray

Take heed of everyday things in life
And help the less fortunate around you
These small words of advice I give thee
And now start your day anew
