This fall the fourth grade students participated in a "Storyline" called The Endangered Species Zoo. We have put together a short video showing the children in character, working on solutions facing the world's endangered animals. We invite you to read about Storyline and download our video, the link to which you can find below.

About Storyline:

The Storyline method is a structured approach to learning and teaching developed in Scotland over 30 years ago.  It builds on the key principle that learning, to be meaningful, has to be memorable, and that by using learners' enthusiasm for story-making, the classroom teachers' role and learning, can be transformed.  The Storyline method is a strategy for developing the curriculum as an integrated whole.  It provides opportunity for active learning and reflection as essential parts of effective learning and teaching.  At the same time it develops in learners a powerful sense of ownership of their learning.
