That Monday started off pretty slow. I didn’t receive any packages from the UPS guy or the Fed Ex guy so I didn’t really get up off my seat for a good 3 hours until the electrician came. Mark, I believe his name was. Nice fellow but really loved to chat. I talked to him about his daughter’s softball career for a good hour and a half. Once he left, I went back to my chair and sat down for another hour or so. I was expecting this extremely challenging day but I got one of the slowest days ever since I’ve been working at Manor Fine Wares. That Monday kicked off a very slow week. I started to understand that working at small business is not going to always be exciting. It’s not going to always keep you on your toes. At times there will be those weeks where its a little repetitive and monotonous but I guess that’s life. That’s one thing Kevin has taught me during my internship at Manor Fine Wares. You won’t always be doing what you love to do, “that’s just life” he would all ways say.
