Last tuesday we shot the "Recess Wellness" video out in Wilsonville. It is a comedy viral video that is supposed to end up about 2 minutes long, over 2 and a half hours of footage was shot. The crew arrived on location at 7 am and we finished the day around 5. It was probably the funniest thing I had ever seen in person, the actors were super creative, and could just go on and on improving. Laura, the producer and my mentor, and James, the director, kept me busy during the day; whether it be driving from the shoot back to the Sockeye offices to get a card reader, or to make deserted cubicle look like a real workplace. As you can see in the picture gallery, we rented a screen which directly connects to what the camera is recording. I learned a lot by watching what exactly Kevin Fletcher, the camera operator, was shooting on the screen. Viewing the scene as a whole, and also seeing what Kevin chose to focus on was a cool experience. The final edit should be done sometime this week, I'll make sure to post a link!
