It has been a long process finding my senior project, but I am just steps away! I've been talking to and working with Matthew Karzensky, a private contractor in the film industry that I met when he was working on Gus Van Sant's last movie which just happened to be shooting across the street from my house.  He found an in Portland project being filmed at the same time as my senior project, which was really just luck of the draw since movies are sudden and unpredictable (which is why it's taken so long to get going).  He's been in contact Dawnn Pavlonnis, a woman he has done a large amount of work with.  She told him that I could work on a made-for-tv movie that would be shot here in Portland, and the actual production is being done for 20 days starting in early May, which is perfect and hard to find!

So I'm waiting to hear back from her to confirm one last time and get the signatures/the full plan from her, and then we're a go.  The only problem is that she's so busy working on the actual movie it's hard to reach her, but we're working on that and Matt K. is helping me.
