Day 6
Today was more routine. I'm starting to get how it all works and falling well into my position. We were lucky enough to start at 9:30am today. I got to the new location, got breakfast, helped out at base camp for a little, and headed to set. I started out by helping move tables and chairs. When the child actors come for the day we set up a table and chairs for their "school". Basically they have a private teacher that teaches them when they arn't acting in the scene, which allows them to do their acting and attend school.
Today was mostly the same. I talked to one of the crew about Pomona which was nice and I met the new actor of the week, Philip Winchester, who plays one of the main characters in the movie. Otherwise today was a little bit shorter since I had to leave at 2:30pm for track practice.
Tomorrow shooting starts at 2:00pm. Because of track, Jason the A.D. called me and asked if I wanted to work with him in a special unit from 12:45 to 2:00 and then return to set after track to finish up my day with a bit of night shooting, which should be fun. The set work will probably go until 2:00am, but I may leave early due to the early Zoo trip on Wednesday... we will see.

Hey,
Are you still blogging?
Hey
I need (and want) to come for a site-visit.
Monday would be best for me. Let me know what time and where (provided it can work out on your end of things.)
How was the work with the AD unit... you're on the fast-track to being a major crew-hand. Pomona-schmomona!
Sounds like a very cool
Sounds like a very cool project, IM. It would be cool to have breakfast served around here too. Maybe, after you become famous, you could set that up for us.
