Last night's win over the De La Salle Knights (25-10, 25-9, 25-4) solidified Catlin's spot at number 3 in the Lewis and Clark Conference, and placing them in excellent position for district play-offs and a ride to the state tournament for the second year in a row. The match was the last home match of the regular season and dedicated to this season's seniors Lynne Stracovsky, Sabin Ray and McKensie Mickler, all of which played a flawless defensive match posting 1.000 for both receptions and digs. On top of that Sabin Ray added 14 digs, 1 block and 5 aces to her resume and McKensie Mickler earned 14 kills on 22 attempts to record a .545 H% and a .636 K%. The match also marked some statistical milestones with Ray tallying 308 receptions on the year and 305 digs as a middle blocker; Mickler stepping above the 300 mark as well making it 304 kills on the season with a very respectable 4.7 kills per game average.
