Who are Catlin Gabel alumni?

Alumni attended or graduated from Catlin Gabel or any of its predecessor schools — Miss Catlin’s School, Gabel Country Day, and Catlin-Hillside.

The Alumni Association is composed of more than 4,000 alumni. This dynamic group of individuals supports and enhances the mission and goals of the school by serving on the Alumni Board, acting as career mentors for current students, volunteering, fund raising, and working as student ambassadors. Catlin Gabel alumni are active participants in their communities.

As educators, entrepreneurs, professionals, parents, athletes, scientists, artists and more, our alumni are extraordinary people who live and work around the globe and right here in Oregon.

The Catlin Gabel Alumni Association supports the school's mission, goals, objectives and operations. The alumni board governs the Alumni Association and has the following responsibilities:

  • To serve as a communication link between alumni and the school.
  • To provide and encourage a variety of opportunities for alumni support and involvement in the school.
  • To provide opportunities for alumni to meet together and have contact with each other.
  • To preserve and promote the heritage, traditions, and values of the school and to encourage loyalty toward the school among alumni.

The board is composed of people who attended Catlin Gabel or any of its predecessor schools, and whose affection for Catlin Gabel is such that they choose to continue their involvement. Members of the board participate for a minimum of two years and participate in a variety of events throughout the year.
